"My glasses were so thick that my husband told me that Coke called and wanted the bottoms of their bottles back. They would give me dents on the top of my nose and give me headaches. They were just very thick lenses…I couldn't see the top "E" on the eye chart…I had to hold books 2 to 3 inches away from my face to see the print on them…
…When I sat up after the (Customized LASIK) procedure was completed, I could see the eye chart without corrective lenses. For the first time in my life, I didn't have to stand 2 feet away from the chart to see the letters…Within 3 hours of the procedure I was able to read a menu on the wall behind the counter when we went out for lunch…I had 20/15 vision the next morning after the procedure…I went to the beach this last Fall for the first time in my life without corrective lenses. I was able to snorkel. I was able to be in the sand and the saltwater and the wind, and I never once had to worry about my eyes.

"It was easy to learn what LASIK vision correction is all about and what
the results are supposed to be. It was not as easy to know who I would
and could trust with the only eyes I have.
Watching all the programs on LASIK vision correction that I could, I knew I needed
a doctor that specialized in LASIK surgery. It is my opinion that education,
